The property is located in the city of York. York is situated approximately 25 miles North East of Leeds, 22 miles East of Harrogate, 41 miles North West of Hull, and 190 miles North of London.
Major transport routes include the A64 (East to West) and A19 (North to South) trunk roads. The A64 links the city with the A1 (approximately 15 miles to the West) and Northern end of the M1 of a combined junction approximately 15 miles to the South West.
York railway station is an important East Coast mainline railway hub being situated between London and Edinburgh and providing regular and direct services to both destinations. Rail Links to London are approximately 2 hours.

The dealership occupies a highly visible location immediately North of the City Centre on the south side of Clifton Moor Gate at its junction with Tribune Way. Clifton Moor Gate connects to the ring road less than 0.5 miles to the north. The immediate surrounds compromise an established commercial area and the main destination for car showrooms in York. There is an area of land directly to the South/South East of the site, this sits within the greenbelt and no planning has ever been submitted on the site. It is also the site of an ancient Roman Camp.
Property Description
The property dating from the early 2000’s is a steel-framed building with extensive glazing to the frontage, especially around the entrance to each showroom. The unit is finished with modern composite metal cladding panels to the perimeter external walls. Internally it has concrete floors throughout with a variety of personnel doors, large sliding glass doors in the curtain walling and roller shutter doors for vehicle movement. The main roof is a steel framed double curved “wave” shape covering both the showrooms and service areas. The roof Is covered with factory coated metal profiled panels with inset roof light and a variety of openings for services.
